Nor-Ag Ltd. is an agricultural based equipment supply company, incorporated in 1999. Though Nor-Ag is a relatively young company in an ever changing market place, its founders Elie Santrau and Mike Harbor have been involved in the poultry, swine and cattle business for decades.
Elie was raised in the hatchery and broiler industry. His father was a pioneer in the western Canadian poultry industry, managing and owning various farms. Hans Santrau eventually opened Ziehl Ventilating Equipment in 1975. Ziehl Ventilating Equipment is still in business today, owned and operated by members of the Santrau family.
Mike Harbor was raised on a grain and cattle farm. Learning the business he went to work for an equipment supply company in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1989. His job started as temporary employment and before too long he evolved into a grain handling, feed processing specialist. Poultry and swine became a large part of the feed processing business.
Nor-Ag Ltd. is in touch with its ever changing markets. Introducing new innovative concepts for construction, consideration of animal husbandry, employee welfare, ventilation and equipment designed to provide years of efficient, durable, cost effective approaches to “Serving the Intensive Livestock Industry”.
